Douglas Biography

Known as the "Little Giant", Stephen A. Douglas served as a United States senator from 1847 until his death in 1861. Douglas is most commonly thought of for his role in the Lincoln-Douglas Debates, but his contributions to his country and his state extend far beyond that.
